Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Lenox facility in Iowa. This is a unique opportunity to work for Michael Foods Inc., a leading food manufacturer with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position responsible for maintaining the building and grounds of the Lenox facility, including snow removal.
  • The ideal candidate will have mechanical skills, knowledge of construction equipment, and the ability to safely use hand tools.
  • You will be responsible for maintenance tasks such as rebuilding and repairing walls, floors, ceiling, doors, and other facilities components.
  • Additionally, you will need to adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure product quality is maintained.

About You:

  • You hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • You possess good communication skills and the ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • You are able to perform mathematical calculations and have reasoning abilities to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Location:

The Lenox facility is located in southwest Iowa, offering a small-town living experience with easy access to big-city amenities in Des Moines, Omaha, and Kansas City.

Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
