Nursing Assistant

UW Health is seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Inpatient Operating Room. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the efficient operation of our department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with room and equipment preparation prior to surgeries
- Coordinate preventative equipment maintenance in accordance with safety standards
- Arrange specimen transport and testing for the Inpatient Operating Room
- Assist with patient positioning, patient transport, intentional rounding, stocking, and ordering equipment
- Help maintain high patient care standards in a surgical services setting
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program
- 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant (Preferred)
- Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire
- BLS/CPR certification within 3 months
