Role Summary:

We are in search of a Director of Advanced Analytics & Insights to spearhead the enhancement of our data analytics capabilities. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to align business objectives with data-driven insights, uncovering growth opportunities, optimizing operations, and fostering innovation. The Director will manage cross-functional teams, guiding various business units in the creation and assessment of strategies that maximize the value of our data assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Implementation:
• Equip business units with data, tools, and models to derive insights and establish metrics/KPIs, driving data-informed decisions to fulfill organizational goals.
• Collaborate with product, finance, and other departments to deploy innovative technologies and advanced analytics capabilities.
• Support ongoing improvements to enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of analytic platforms, promoting user adoption and organizational efficiency.

Advanced Analytics and Data Science:
• Provide expertise in Advanced Analytics, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization, to transform data into a strategic asset.
• Define and implement data acquisition and integration strategies to monitor and enhance performance and scalability of data solutions.
• Promote the adoption of self-service analytics tools to continuously improve the strategic use of data across the organization.

Agile Delivery of Data Solutions:
• Employ agile methodologies to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts and engineers, to swiftly develop and refine Data Analytics and BI solutions.
• Formulate a strategy to democratize data through AI-driven self-service analytics solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of data solutions that meet evolving business needs and generate incremental value.

Business Collaboration:
• Collaborate with various business units on data initiatives, driving proofs of concept and projects to ensure alignment with business needs and value delivery.
• Lead the design and development of data models, dashboards, and reports, while educating stakeholders on the benefits of data analytics.
• Ensure actionable insights and data-driven recommendations are provided to business leaders, monitoring the impact of data initiatives on performance.

Leadership and Team Development:
• Mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage project budgets and timelines, overseeing daily activities of team members.

Technology and Tools:
• Assess new advanced analytical capabilities that align with the enterprise data strategy.
• Identify tools and technologies to deliver effective solutions that meet business requirements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in data innovation.

Performance Metrics:
• Develop and monitor KPIs to evaluate the success of data initiatives and their impact on business outcomes.
• Align data team KPIs with organizational objectives to ensure data activities yield measurable value.
• Regularly review KPIs, utilizing data to identify improvement areas and drive strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in data strategy, advanced analytics, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance and management best practices.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in data modeling, analysis, and visualization tools, including BI tools and machine learning frameworks.
