Job Summary

Velocity Vehicle Group is seeking a highly skilled Truck Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, and ensuring the optimal functionality and safety of our diverse fleet.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of $30-40 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and replacements, filter replacements, and other preventive measures to ensure the fleet's overall health.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
  • Repair or replace faulty components, including brakes, suspension systems, exhaust systems, electrical systems, and drivetrains.
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, parts used, and services performed.
  • Work collaboratively with other technicians, lead technicians, and supervisors to share knowledge, discuss complex issues, and solve problems collectively.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience as an automotive/Diesel technician or in a similar role.
  • DOT certifications preferred.
  • General knowledge on air and hydraulic braking systems a plus.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, software, and equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
