FleetPride is a leading distributor of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, seeking a skilled CDL Driver to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and equipment to customers, while ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver customer's tractors and trailers, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.
  • Test drive vehicles and perform routine maintenance checks to ensure mechanical and safety equipment is in good working order.
  • Follow company delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Verify load-related documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or damage to the vehicles.
  • Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service and repair status, adhering to state and federal regulations.
  • Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, following signals from loading crew as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a driver position
  • Valid Commercial Drivers' License with a clean driving record

Working Conditions

As a CDL Driver, you will be exposed to various working conditions, including:

  • Inside/Outside Conditions
  • Extreme Temperatures (average of 100 Degrees F)
  • Humid Conditions
  • Chemical Hazards
  • Vibration
  • Equipment Noise
  • Work in enclosed and confined spaces
