Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Chico's FAS. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in promoting a customer-focused sales culture, managing sales operations, and ensuring great customer experience and maximum profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales reports and KPIs to determine business needs and execute in-store business and sales strategies.
  • Establish and communicate clear expectations, holding store teams and yourself accountable for achieving brand, performance, and behavior standards.
  • Control payroll and supply budget, perform basic operational activities, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
  • Develop a high-performance culture, motivating sales teams to meet assigned sales and productivity goals.
  • Train and coach store teams to ensure selling teams are fluent in all aspects of product knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of retail management experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
  • Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
  • Proven excellent customer service skills with statistical track record in all areas of sales and leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Constant walking/standing (67-100% of 8-hour shift).
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. (1-33% of 8-hour shift).
  • Frequent climbing (34%-66% of 8-hour shift).
