Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and in accordance with facility policies.
  • Lead and guide nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Assist physicians with rounds and physical examinations as needed.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • CPR certification and ability to maintain current certification.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
