We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Operating Room at Carilion Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction.
- Assume primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments and medications accurately and document patient care in electronic medical records.
- Graduate of a school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
- Obtain CPR, and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
- Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC) and ability to successfully complete orientation and competency requirements.
