Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Controls Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems for various industrial applications. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implementation of control systems using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing control systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Collaboration with engineering teams to design and implement control system improvements
  • Documentation of all maintenance activities and updates to control systems
  • Technical support to operators and other staff as needed
  • Installation and commissioning of new control systems

 

Requirements:

  • Experience with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs
  • Knowledge of Java or C++ programming languages
  • Understanding of bit structure and binary logic
  • Ability to travel up to 70% of the time (approximately 30-38 weeks/year)

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Technical level experience with Siemens PLCs

 

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $40.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus additional benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, and a 401K plan.
