Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team at Delaware Park Casino & Racing. As an EMT, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and response to employees and patrons in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency situations and provide medical care and treatment to employees and patrons.
- Operate emergency vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Document incidents and medical treatment provided using the State of Delaware DEMERS EMS Report system and Delaware Park CIP report system.
- Perform regular fire and EMS inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with outside fire and EMS agencies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Current Delaware and National Registry EMT Certification.
- Valid Emergency Vehicle Operators License (EVO).
- Valid CPR-AED Certification.
- Strong knowledge of State Ambulance and EMS regulations.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without difficulty.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel computer skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively communicate with co-workers and management.
