Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Perform routine examinations, health screenings, and diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care and ensure positive patient health outcomes.
  • Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness programs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Epic experience preferred.
  • Previous student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred, but not required.
