We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Production Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for organizing, administering, and optimizing maintenance management and production maintenance activities. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and control systems will be essential in reducing maintenance costs and optimizing departmental maintenance execution.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Production Maintenance shift to cost-effectively produce a quality product that meets all regulatory and customer needs.
- Support maintenance and production areas by demonstrating leadership behaviors, including being a self-starter, organized, detailed, conscientious, and ambitious.
- Review preventative and corrective maintenance activities to improve existing procedures and processes.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to solve complex problems and drive root cause analysis and continuous equipment/system improvement.
- Plan, initiate, and track progress of work assignments using CMMS to meet manufacturing schedules and needs.
- Provide training, mentoring, and drive professional development.
- Responsible for following all site Safety Policies/OSHA policies, including requirements for personal protection equipment.
- Assist in special assignments with outside technicians or departments, such as training or personnel.
- Associate's Degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years of professional maintenance experience with strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or control systems.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience in a regulated environment is desired.
- Knowledge of good manufacturing practices (GMP's), ISO, and quality system regulations.
- Advanced knowledge of trouble-shooting on equipment with a strong hands-on experience of electrical, mechanical, and/or control systems.
- Able to read and redline electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical/assembly drawings.
- Capability of identifying reoccurring problems on the manufacturing floor and determining the corrective action using root cause analysis.
- Effective communication between Department Shifts, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
- Computer Skills: High level of capability to navigate the CMM system, including experience with Excel and Outlook.
- Knowledge and understanding of 5s implementation.
