Truck Driver CDL A Daily No Touch Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL truck driver to join our team at Ryder System Inc. in Mechanicsburg, PA. As a solo driver, you will be responsible for delivering electrical components and building materials to Troutsville, VA and back, with a local home daily route.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight, or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
Benefits:
  • Weekly average pay of $1430 for a 5-day work week
  • Hourly pay of $26.00 per hour
  • 55 hours per week

  • Loyalty bonus: pays $1200 at 6 months and $1200 at 1 year
