**Key Responsibilities:**

* Assist with patient exams and procedures
* Take vital signs and prepare patients for procedures
* Develop long-term relationships with patients
* Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

**Requirements:**

* Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred
* Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred
* National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma
* Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter
