We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a key member of our Digest Disease Health Center, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our Clinical Advancement Program.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and effective patient care in the ambulatory setting, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Participate in the Clinical Advancement Program, working towards one of five CAP levels that offer increasing compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
- Assist with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Process data and generate reports, assisting in the reception and discharge areas, and handling patient calls and triage using documentation.
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or eligibility for reciprocal agreement.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer certification within 30 days.
- 3 years of directly related experience, with a strong background in ambulatory care and patient education.
- Bilingual English and Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo language skills a plus.
