Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at ClimateMaster. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling water source heat pumps using power tools, hand tools, and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly Operations: Operate hand tools, electrical tools, and automated equipment to install fasteners, terminals, and other small components in the assembly process.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the quality of the parts and materials being delivered to the assembly line, and report any non-conforming components or products to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any defects or failures to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of assembly experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred.
  • Language: Must be able to read and communicate in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Operational Excellence: Familiarity with operational excellence principles, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
