Key Responsibilities

The Industrial Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Executing mechanical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
  • Carrying out a variety of tasks to install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Providing emergency repairs for production equipment during operational hours and performing scheduled maintenance during downtime.
  • Building and wiring control panels according to specifications, ensuring proper layout and testing for functionality.
  • Performing basic machinist duties as required.
  • Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to execute necessary maintenance and service tasks.
  • Diagnosing issues, replacing or repairing components, and making necessary adjustments.
  • Developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules for all machinery and vehicles.
  • Instructing operators on their preventive maintenance responsibilities.
  • Maintaining an efficient parts inventory for organized storage and retrieval.
  • Repairing breakdowns as per the approved schedule.
  • Overseeing the maintenance of the building and surrounding grounds.
  • Recommending new equipment selections and installations, coordinating with external contractors as needed.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance.
  • Experience in industrial electricity, with preferred knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Expertise in hydraulic troubleshooting.
  • Experience in building and grounds maintenance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
