Software Support Specialist, Factory Operations

As a highly motivated Software Support Specialist in Factory Operations at Tesla, you will join our expert team that supports the operational health of systems manufacturing our cars, superchargers, and energy storage. Your role will be to maintain a good balance between building relationships with users, solving technical problems, and knowledge of enterprise-level systems (MES, WMS, ERP).
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of end-to-end integration of MES and ERP applications, work directly with software developers and production floor users to understand issues and provide solutions, create workarounds for immediate solutions when necessary, document troubleshooting guides, and set up automation and monitoring systems to optimize factory software utilization.

- Degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience and exceptional ability
- +2 years of support engineering experience
- +2 years of working knowledge of SQL
- +1 year of experience with Python, Go, or other software development languages
- +1 year of experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
- Strong interpersonal skills, energetic, and self-starter
- Excellent organizational skills, demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines and commitments
- Well-versed in all Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
