Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Hutchinson Industries. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to transport materials and products safely and efficiently.
  • Accurately receive, store, and ship materials and products.
  • Participate in developing and updating risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • A strong aptitude for math and basic algebra.
  • A forklift safety and training certificate.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • The ability to lift moderate to heavy weights and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Working Conditions

This is a non-exempt position that requires working in a warehouse environment with moderate to heavy physical demands. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while on the job.
