KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks in resident living spaces, communal areas, and support zones as assigned, ensuring adherence to Sunrise's quality benchmarks.
- Manage the collection, cleaning, and redistribution of community laundry.
- Support Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident assistance as needed.
- Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote Risk Management initiatives; uphold safety protocols.
- Consistently practice safety measures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire safety equipment, and adherence to Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Lockout Tagout procedures.
- Be aware that team members may encounter blood or bodily fluids, with potential exposure to hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
- Actively engage as a team member, committed to achieving collective goals.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to deliver housekeeping and laundry services in a resident-focused environment, meeting or exceeding Sunrise's quality expectations.
- Genuine interest in working with seniors.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
- Exhibit sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to community procedures and guidelines, with a proactive approach to assigned tasks.
- Ability to perform duties amidst frequent interruptions.
- For those driving a Sunrise vehicle, compliance with the Driver job description and understanding of essential safety and regulatory responsibilities is required.
