Salary

We are offering a competitive salary for this Registered Nurse RN Float Pool PRN position, with an estimated annual compensation ranging from $85,000 to over $115,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as retirement plans and education assistance.

Job Description

As a Registered Nurse RN Float Pool PRN at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care on various units, including Med Surg, IP Rehab, Intermediate Care, and Behavioral Health. Your primary duties will include:

  • Performing and directing nursing procedures, prescribed treatments, based on knowledge of principles and practice of Registered Nurse
  • Observing and recording patient reactions to medication, I.V. therapy, blood transfusion, and treatment
  • Evaluating patient's signs and symptoms; records and reports results. Sets priorities and modifies patient care in response to changing conditions by utilizing problem solving skills and exhibiting good judgment
  • Collaborating with physician regarding patient progress towards the outcome attainment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Current State of Indiana Registered Nurse License or compact license required
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Registered Professional Nurse. Associates Degree required
  • BLS certification required
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) training completion within 30 days of hire and maintenance of certification
  • ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
