Job Summary

Williamson Health is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Medical Group team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide clinical support to patients and businesses, communicating vital information, scheduling tests and consultations, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately record patient medical history and vital signs
  • Administer immunizations and injections as necessary
  • Counsel patients on health-related issues
  • Order and maintain clinical supplies and pharmaceuticals
  • Coordinate referrals to other medical services
  • Secure consultations and specialists
  • Triage phone calls and address patient portal messages
  • Obtain prior authorization for medications and diagnostic testing
  • Assist physician with med/surg procedures
  • Maintain quality assurance for office lab
  • Observe universal precautions
Requirements
  • Formal education/training: Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee
  • One year of experience in a medical office environment
  • Competent in the use of Glucometer, BP cuff, thermometer, computer, stethoscope, audio scope, business phone, and various oral and injectable medications
