Job DescriptionThe Licensed Speech Therapist at Cherrelyn Healthcare Center will work closely with our residents and therapy department to provide rehabilitative care and improve quality of life.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role that requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their goals.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments
- Develop individual treatment plans
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Administer therapy and monitor progress
- Ensure patients and their families are informed of new treatments and therapy techniques
- Participate in regular training and educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge and skills
- Maintain clean and organized treatment areas
- Adhere to all healthcare and safety standards
- Master's degree in speech therapy or speech-language pathology
- State licensure as a Licensed Speech Pathologist
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Speech Pathologist
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with certain disorders and age groups may be required
- Sound understanding of speech-related disorders and treatments
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Resourcefulness and strong problem-solving skills
