Job Summary

Advantage Resourcing is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join our team in Plainfield, CT. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and soldering components on printed circuit boards and installing cable assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Soldering: Install and assemble components like switches, transformers, capacitors, and semiconductors on circuit boards, while performing touch-ups, rework, inspection, and cleaning.
  • Following Instructions: Follow assembly drawings and verbal instructions to align and attach parts using tools such as soldering irons, pliers, and microscopes.
  • Quality Control: Replace defective components, rework faulty PCBs, and enter necessary data, including serial numbers and rework notes, into the computer system.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with Electronic Components: Familiarity with electronic components, Electrostatic Discharge, and ability to read assembly drawings and work instructions.
  • Manual Dexterity: Experience working under a microscope and handling very small parts and tools.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Mechanically inclined with strong manual dexterity for precision tasks.
  • Commitment to Quality: Commitment to high-quality workmanship and timely completion of tasks.
  • Certification: J-STD-001 certification preferred.
