  • At least three (3) years of experience in the design and development of system of systems for C4ISR applications.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the architecture, review, analysis, testing, and modification of system of systems designs and implementations tailored for C4ISR systems.

DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in data management, analysis, and laboratory testing, including scientific interpretation of research results relevant to C4ISR systems.
  • Experience in the design and development of system of systems for C4ISR applications.
  • Expertise in the architecture, review, analysis, testing, and modification of system of systems designs and implementations for C4ISR systems.
  • Familiarity with open architecture frameworks such as Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA), Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (C5ISR)/Electronic Warfare Modular Open Suite of Standards (CMOSS), Open Mission Systems (OMS), and Open Communication Standard (OCS); experience utilizing the Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI).
  • Knowledge of Low Probability of Detection (LPD) and Low Probability of Intercept (LPI) waveforms, as well as anti-jam waveforms.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS

This position necessitates U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Top Secret level, with eligibility for Top Secret / SCI access.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the Government Tactical Air (TACAIR) Reference Implementation Laboratory (RIL).
  • Evaluate or develop complex system designs and architectures for next-generation tactical data links.
  • Provide expertise in communications systems, cybersecurity, and anti-tamper engineering to support technical and managerial requirements.
  • Offer engineering support for emerging platform requirements, including documentation review and participation in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs).
  • Conduct systems engineering analyses, trade studies, and feasibility assessments to support engineering activities.
