We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a Tax Senior Associate, you will play a key role in providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to pass-through and C-corporation entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to clients in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, real estate, professional services, and technology.
  • Assist in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Develop and manage client relationships to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
  • Provide timely and exceptional client service, exceeding client expectations through proactive communication and issue resolution.
  • Represent Forvis Mazars in the marketplace through networking events and other business development activities.
  • Participate in the proposal process for potential new clients and contribute to the development of business development strategies.
  • Participate in campus recruiting initiatives and programs to attract top talent.
  • Contribute to the development of technical guidance for internal and external publications, as well as internal learning and development sessions.
Requirements
  • Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience.
  • A strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clients and experience servicing multiple client engagements.
  • Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solution-finding attitude and willingness to take initiative.
  • Precise attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
