Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our team at Paymentus. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for driving the development and improvement of our products or product lines, supporting our overall strategy and goals.

The ideal candidate will have deep product expertise and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams. You will be responsible for planning and making strategic decisions throughout the product lifecycle, including researching and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision and roadmap, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer support to ensure successful product release and meet customer satisfaction goals.

In addition to your technical knowledge and experience in software development or solution design, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to create buy-in and lead teams without direct authority. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and own product lifecycle activities from concept to design, development, testing, deployment, rollout, support, and product end of life.
  • Align vision and collaborate with stakeholders in the execution of the product.
  • Translate the business roadmap into sizeable initiatives/epics and provide guidance to business analysts to gather feature-level requirements.
  • Maintain product backlog and ensure prioritization of epics after analyzing business needs and functional dependencies from all projects.
  • Work closely with delivery managers and product owners to plan product delivery and guide the team as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a product development or management role.
  • Proven ability to complete and deliver projects and initiatives successfully.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to creatively solve problems.
  • Technical knowledge with experience in software development or solution design.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create buy-in and lead teams without direct authority.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional leadership and project management skills.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
