Construction Pipelayer

At Woodruff & Sons Inc, we are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pipe stringing, pipe installation, and pipe maintenance.

• Work as a crew member installing various pipelines.
• Assist the foreman in laser setup and monitor the accuracy throughout the day.
• Ensure proper bedding is in place and leveled to the proper grade.
• Work with the crew on any other required activities such as well pointing, constructing invert channels or any other masonry work, testing pipelines, clean-up, etc.
• Work in accordance with Company Safety Program and bring to the attention of the Foreman any safety violations or concerns.
• Monitor and ensure jobsite housekeeping.
• Secure jobsite for any nonworking periods, such as evening or week-ends.
• Park equipment in such a manner that protects vulnerable machines (small dozers, etc.) from potential theft.
• Park equipment in areas easily accessible by the refueling personnel.
• Maintain all erosion control devices are in place and functioning properly.
• Monitor all signs and barricades and reset any devices that have been moved or knocked down.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of pipeline installation and maintenance procedures, as well as experience working with laser equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in pipeline installation and maintenance.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license.
