Role Summary

The Transportation Department at JEO specializes in a range of services, including traffic engineering, transportation planning, and project management. As a Transportation Engineer, you will collaborate with a committed team to deliver outstanding projects that surpass client expectations while aligning with our financial goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed Roadway Design plans and construction documentation
  • Conduct field inspections for transportation initiatives
  • Perform Roadway Design tasks, encompassing various designs and alignments
  • Ensure the precision and completeness of design-related documentation
  • Prepare cost assessments and construction quantities
  • Employ advanced CADD techniques and comply with project standards

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering projects for municipal, county, or transportation departments
  • Familiarity with MicroStation and OpenRoads is a plus
