Overview of Responsibilities

This part-time role is situated within the Town Manager's Office and is tasked with ensuring the safety and protection of the Town Hall facility and its parking area during public access hours outside of standard operational times.

Work Hours:
The schedule is flexible and typically involves evening hours from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., or until the conclusion of public meetings, Monday through Thursday. Additional hours may be required for special events on occasional Friday evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Essential Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in building security or a related field.
  • Possession of a DCJS Unarmed Security Officer license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Certification in CPR, First Aid, and AED or the ability to secure certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Current DCJS Unarmed Security Officer license.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and AED.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
