Job DescriptionJob Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of associates during a specific shift, ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Performance Management: Evaluate the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare production or sales reports for management, ensuring that the unit meets expectations for quality, productivity, and safety.
- Employee Relations: Act as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off, providing support and resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Development and Growth: May act as a mentor, developing employees and encouraging workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
Requirements:
- Experience: High volume hospitality and supervisor experience preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
