Vibra Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the overall nursing operations and ensuring the delivery of efficient, high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall nursing operations and ensures the delivery of efficient, high-quality resident care.
- Provision of care includes direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
- Works with employees and other managers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations.
- Provides training, information, and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.
- Utilizes identified ergonomic and mechanical lifting equipment as indicated.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or in current program with a completion date of 2 years required.
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing management experience required.
- Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an skilled nursing setting preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of operations, including staffing and scheduling, budget management, workflow planning, and staff development.
- Ability to manage the practice of nursing within the mission of the facility.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in recruitment and hire of qualified staff.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
