Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, and implement Occupational Therapy services to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Assess and evaluate residents' physical, mental, and social abilities to create personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and provide guidance and training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records and progress notes.
Requirements
  • Current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of NY.
  • Current malpractice insurance and a good standing license.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional compassionate care.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work under pressure.
