Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Senior Project Manager include:

  • Collaborating with a Principal Investigator to ensure the successful execution of technical projects.
  • Serving as a vital point of contact for clients and regulatory agencies, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Monitoring compliance with relevant regulations, permits, and legal requirements.
  • Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and field operations.
  • Supervising team members while also contributing to the technical aspects of assigned tasks.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Master's degree (M.A. or M.S.) in Anthropology.
  • Experience sufficient to qualify for direct charge on antiquities permits in at least two states within the operational region.
  • Knowledge of the prehistory and history relevant to the company's service areas.
  • Familiarity with the flora, fauna, geology, and lithic sources in the service regions.
  • Awareness of current archaeological research methods and trends.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in archaeological field investigations.
  • At least three years of experience in supervising field crews and managing projects.
  • Preferred: Active First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained post-hire).
