Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Register patients, schedule appointments, and confirm visit details in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Patient Greeting and Support: Greet patients warmly, assist with their needs, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Communication and Coordination: Answer calls professionally, converse with patients, and address their requests and concerns with courtesy and respect.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect charges from self-pay patients upon completion of visits.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete necessary authorizations, referrals, and prescriptions when required, and close out old patient files according to policies and procedures.
  • Training and Meetings: Attend training sessions and administrative meetings to stay updated on policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including Sundays and evenings.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive patient experience.
  • Experience: Previous experience working at a dental front desk is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, and knowledge of Dentrix software is also desirable.
