About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at UT Health Jacksonville. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
  • Utilize advanced imaging modalities to capture high-quality images and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans and improve patient outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Qualified second-year student from an allied Health Echocardiography program.
  • Echo Registry eligible per ICAEL standards.
  • CPR Certified Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Echo registered in RDCS or RCS within six (6) months of hire date.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Allied Health degree in Cardiac Ultrasound experience performing Echocardiography studies.
  • Minimum of 1 year of patient care experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Echocardiography studies.
