We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Coxsackie Correctional Facility. As a member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients, adhering to evidence-based medicine and established protocols.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and emergency medical care to patients, including sick call, chronic care, and history and physicals.
- Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Support the medical director and site health services administrator in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited program in nursing or a related field.
- Current licensure to practice in the state of New York.
- Certification in the scope of practice as a nurse practitioner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
