Our Healthcare Center offers Respite Care, continuing Long-term Care, Memory Care, and Rehabilitation. We have been a valuable part of the community for the past 40 years.
**Job Summary:**
The primary purpose of this job position is to provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead and support all functions related to quality care for our residents
* Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants
* Participate in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies
* Complete processes and paperwork related to Admission, transfer, and discharge of our residents
* Receive telephone orders from physicians and record on the Physicians Order Form
* Transcribe physician's orders to resident charts, medication records treatment/care plans, as required
* Chart nurse's notes in an informative and descriptive manner that reflects the care provided to the resident, as well as the resident's response to the care
**Qualifications:**
* Must have a valid unencumbered nursing license
* Must have valid CPR/BLS certification or be willing to obtain during orientation
* Valid RN license in the state of TN
