We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. This role is focused on providing exceptional patient care in the Operating Room.
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: Alaska RN license, BLS, ACLS
- Facility: Alaska Regional Hospital
- Specialty: Operating Room
- Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
- Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
- Required Experience: Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, Robotics
- On-call Duties: Required
- Act as a patient advocate while serving as a circulator and resource for the sterile field.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a circulator, scrub, or CNOR.
- Typical Procedures: Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, various Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General).
- Minimal Exposure: ENT, Dental, Eyes, or Plastics.
The ideal candidate will possess a positive outlook and a willingness to collaborate effectively with team members.
Schedule Details- Shift Structure: Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends preferred).
- Call Expectation: Based on staffing levels, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift.
- Weekend Availability: Required if working during the week.
- Unit Type: Operating Room
- Staffing Levels: Varies by day.
- Patient Ratios: 1:1.
- Floating Areas: N/A.
- Dress Code: Scrubs provided by the facility.
- Weekend and On-call Duties: As applicable.
