Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class A CDL truck driver to join our team at TransForce. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and delivering goods to our customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive long distance or regional routes, depending on the situation, and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Follow all applicable traffic safety and FMCSA compliance rules to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Secure and balance cargo, monitoring its condition based on the specific situation, and ensure it is properly loaded and unloaded.
  • Maintain accurate logs that meet federal and state hours of service (HOS) requirements.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and en route checks to identify and address any mechanical issues with the vehicle.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • A safety-first attitude and a proven driving record.
  • A clean driving record with no major moving violations.
  • At least one year of experience driving a tractor-trailer within the last year, with up to two weeks of fully paid on-the-job training available.
  • Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and the ability to use road maps and GPS devices.
