Job Summary
The House Supervisor RN is a key member of our nursing team, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care that promotes safety and well-being. This role requires a strong leader who can coordinate with various departments, provide clinical support, and collaborate with hospital leaders to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with contract nursing services and hospital leaders to ensure seamless patient care.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and administration, providing clinical support and guidance.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to provide optimum services to patients.
- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and employee education.
- Plan, direct, and evaluate intradepartmental and interdepartmental activities to ensure effective hospital operations.
- Provide on-site administrative support during after-hours shifts and assess requests for administrative contacts.
- Ensure a safe and effective environment for customer satisfaction, including physicians, employees, patients, and families.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
- Five years of progressive acute care or long-term acute care nursing experience in critical care, emergency room, or step-down/telemetry units.
- A minimum of three years of supervision or charge nurse experience.
- Current CPR certification and ACLS certification.
