About the Role

Amedisys is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the position of Clinical Manager - Home Health RN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of our home health care center, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and clinical performance of our nurses and aides.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Recommends employment decisions for staff to the Director of Operations, including decisions to hire, fire, advance, promote or change status.
  • Clinical Oversight: Responsible for the overall quality of patient care and clinical performance of nurses and aides.
  • Operational Management: Organizes clinical operations for the care center, including reviewing requests for services and determining patient eligibility/suitability for home care services.
  • Staff Development: Assists clinicians in establishing immediate and long-term patient goals, setting priorities and developing Plan of Care (POC).
  • Quality Assurance: Regularly evaluates the needs of the patient and makes necessary revisions to the plan of care in collaboration with clinicians.
  • Training and Education: Assists with training of staff to ensure quality care, compliance and fiscal responsibility.
Requirements
  • Clinical Experience: One year of clinical RN experience in home health or hospice.
  • Management Experience: One year of RN management experience.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work, and current CPR certification.
