ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking skilled and passionate Wellness Practitioners who are dedicated to the art of massage therapy and the breathtaking surroundings of the mountain region. If you are an outdoor enthusiast with a love for wellness and healing, this opportunity is tailored for you. At our Spa, we value practitioners who specialize in educating clients about the benefits of massage, muscle recovery, and holistic health. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, be a collaborative team member, and demonstrate a proactive approach to their professional development in massage therapy. We are looking for individuals eager to expand their knowledge and introduce innovative treatments as part of our seasonal offerings. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed massage therapist with an active certification to practice.
- Proficient in various massage techniques including aromatherapy, Swedish, hot stone, sports, and deep tissue.
- Experience in delivering a range of body treatments such as wraps, scrubs, and stone therapies.
- Exemplary professional demeanor and positive outlook.
- Reliable and punctual throughout the year.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to tailor treatments to meet individual client needs.
- Capable of performing multiple high-quality massages and treatments daily.
- Willingness to stand for extended periods, up to 6-8 hours.
- Reliable transportation for commuting in varying seasonal conditions.
- Delivering all massage therapy services with efficiency and care.
- Arriving promptly and prepared for client appointments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms.
- Providing recommendations for retail products and spa services.
- Assisting with end-of-shift procedures and team responsibilities.
- Managing laundry and restocking supplies as needed.
- Adhering to all spa policies and operational protocols.
- Contributing to the overall success of the spa and resort.
- Participating in team meetings and ongoing training sessions.
- Maintaining open communication with team members and management.
