About the Job
School Psychologists are essential professionals in educational settings, providing valuable support to students of all ages. AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Glendale Heights, IL to fill a School Psychologist position.

In this role, you will work closely with children and their families to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and strengths, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans, providing individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral issues. You will also collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments, provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed, and coordinate outreach activities that support students and families.

Key Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology.
  • State Certification and/or Licensure in School Psychology.
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
This assignment offers competitive pay rates, including $26,497 per week, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, accident and short-term disability coverage, free continuing education, and a housing stipend. All travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks, allowing you to enjoy a stable income while experiencing new locations.
