Job Overview

COMPENSATION: $14.30 per hour (up to 1,500 hours annually).

Part-time employees may qualify for a retention bonus of up to $3.75 per hour for hours worked during peak season.

POSITION SUMMARY: This role focuses on the upkeep and enhancement of the golf course facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks outline the primary responsibilities associated with this position. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

  • Care for and maintain flower beds.
  • Oversee the health of trees, plants, and shrubs.
  • Perform mowing of greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas using specialized equipment.
  • Utilize a weed trimmer effectively.
  • Operate a Cushman utility vehicle.
  • Conduct cup placement on greens.
  • Manage the maintenance of the golf cart fleet.
  • Assist with building upkeep.
  • Support golf range maintenance activities.
  • Ensure cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
  • Paint and maintain buildings and signage.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Able to work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible to work different hours based on park requirements.
  • Capable of navigating sandy, marshy, or wooded areas with varying terrain.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues, supervisors, and visitors.
  • Willingness to work during special events, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Ability to adjust work schedule to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Capacity to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to comprehend and execute both verbal and written instructions.
  • Skilled in loading, unloading, and relocating materials as needed.
