Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in the CVOR while ensuring patient comfort and well-being.
- Anticipate, identify, and respond to informational and emotional needs of patients and families, providing empathetic and supportive care.
- Guide and direct healthcare personnel in caring for patients, promoting a collaborative and efficient team environment.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment setup, maintenance, and use, ensuring the highest level of patient safety.
- Initiate emergency support measures, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and protect patients from injury.
- Assist with patient care duties and tasks, including emptying drainage devices, ambulating, and hygiene.
- Registered Nurse license in good standing, State of Arkansas or compact state license required prior to start date.
- 6 months of acute care experience is required, with previous CVICU experience strongly preferred.
- BLS through the American Heart Association is required, with ACLS through the American Heart Association also required.
- A competitive hourly rate of $41.89.
- A sign-on bonus up to $25,000, depending on shift and eligibility.
- Additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder and referral bonuses.
