Key Responsibilities:
As a Data Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of analysts who acquire, analyze, and supply economic data to clients. You will work closely with business units, including sales, product, and engineering, to develop and improve product databases and functionality across the terminal. Your team will be responsible for onboarding, analyzing, applying, and supplying economic data to clients. You will leverage your high-level understanding of economics to locate, gather, and analyze data in a proficient and timely manner. You will also recruit, mentor, and develop a team of analysts who will be specialists and experts in their product.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need 3+ years of relevant leadership experience within a previous or current role. You should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or Finance, or related business/STEM field. Experience working with economic time series or other large datasets is essential. You should be able to quantify trends impacting the industry and provide information that aids commercial decisions. You will need excellent communication skills, allowing you to clearly communicate business needs and advocate on behalf of your team. Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build influential relationships with internal and external clients and partners is also required.
