Join Miratech as a 2nd Shift Welder

MIRATECH, a global leader in emission and silencing solutions, is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Welder to join our team in Prior Lake, MN. As a 2nd Shift Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding tasks, reading and interpreting project plans, and ensuring high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MIG welding based on product needs, welding round and rectangular elements.
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the necessary task.
  • Knowledge of QC and product inspection procedures.
  • Grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
  • Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPEs provided.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Certification in welding from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to use welding equipment and related tools effectively and safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
