Process Optimization Specialist

Resin Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- **Monitor and Ensure Compliance**: Oversee adherence to environmental permits and regulations, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment.
- **Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues**: Identify and address potential problems, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- **Engineering Calculations and Analysis**: Perform complex calculations and analyze data to inform process improvements and drive business growth.
- **Investigate Production and Quality Variances**: Conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes of variances, implementing corrective actions to maintain quality standards.
- **Lead Reliability and Capacity Improvements**: Develop and implement strategies to enhance process reliability, increase capacity, and reduce costs.
- **Provide Operations Training**: Train employees on best practices, ensuring a high level of operational competence and efficiency.
- **Support Environmental Department**: Collaborate with the environmental department to ensure accurate emissions calculations and compliance with regulations.
- **Assist with Capital Project Design and Installation**: Provide technical expertise to support the design and implementation of capital projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
- **Maintain Plant Safety Policies and Procedures**: Ensure adherence to plant safety policies and procedures, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- **Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Equivalent**: Possess a strong foundation in chemical engineering principles and practices.
- **2+ Years of Experience in Petrochemicals or Refining**: Bring a wealth of knowledge and experience in the petrochemicals or refining industry.
- **Knowledge of Chemical Engineering Fundamentals**: Demonstrate a deep understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, kinetics, and mass transfer.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Possess excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
- **Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills**: Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- **Ability to Work On-Site in Houston, TX**: Be willing to work on-site in Houston, TX, with a flexible schedule that includes three days per week.
