Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at EvergreenHealth Monroe. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities.

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed respiratory therapies, including jet nebulizers, IPPB, oxygen concentrations, gases, aerosols, and humidity.
  • Obtain and analyze arterial blood gas specimens, performing quality control and calibration as needed.
  • Perform critical care procedures, including ventilator management and tracheotomy changes.
  • Monitor and assess patient data, transcribing physician orders and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Participate in department shift reports and collaborate with nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited two-year respiratory care program.
  • Successful passage of the NBRC registry exam.
  • Current license through the State of Washington as a Respiratory Therapist (LR).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification within six months of hire date.
